Our organization came to be in April of 2020, when Texas temporarily banned abortions at the beginning of COVID-19. A group of young queer folks who were passionate about Reproductive Justice knew that we had the power to mobilize across Texas and help people get the abortions they needed.

The Roe Fund, a service of the Oklahoma Religious coalition for Reproductive choice, Inc, is named after the landmark Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion in 1973. The Roe Fund has been assisting women for over 20 years. The Roe fund gives financial assistance to nearly 300 women every year who otherwise could not have afforded an abortion.
Texas Equal Access Fund provides funding to low-income people in the northern region of Texas who are seeking abortion and cannot afford it, while simultaneously working to end barriers to abortion access through community education and shifting the current culture toward reproductive justice.
